Private, personalized coaching sessions
We are all more than the roles that are given to us. You are more in-depth and complex than the role definitions or current challenge you are facing. Your path includes these current roles, your perspectives, personal preferences, and energy levels. I coach to understand these nuances and help you connect the dots. Your path is made of these stepping stones. Walk it with more confidence.
What is coaching?
To start, it is a partnership where I am your sounding board and connect the dots that you may not see for yourself. It is also where you have a partner listening intently for what you want, need, and are willing to work through. Similar to sports coaching, I support you to improve—but to your definition of success, not mine. Unlike therapy, we focus on the present moment and forward action to get you to where you want to be.
What is your role?
I truly believe that each person is meant to walk their own path with confidence. I will be there for you completely and authentically, listening to you, and helping you focus your thoughts. My sharp insight and sense of humor can add depth to the conversation. I have a variety of tools and processes for use depending on what you need. Individuality is a strength of mine, and I tailor each session to you. I respect your choices, decisions, and personal timing.
How does it work?
You can expect private one-on-one conversations where we confidentially discuss what you really want out of life and what's blocking you. Packages will begin with the ELI assessment to understand your current perceptions, and sessions will occur at a regular cadence throughout. You can bring the goal for each call, decide the steps you want to take, and I will hold you accountable for those action items. It’s not like school, though. Your progress is yours and I am here to support you. Trust that I will not judge any decision that you make or step that you choose. This relationship is powerful in shifting energy and perspective!
Do we need to be in the same area to partner together?
No! Coaching conversations are often best on the phone and can be done from anywhere.
What will I gain?
Perspective. Awareness. Increased productivity. Better communication. Change. Building and walking confidently the path you were meant to travel. Guidance to make the desired changes and lead a more fulfilled life. All of these and more. Since your path is your own and your definition of success belongs only to you, we will discuss your desired gain during the strategy session and each call. You may even notice a shift in your success definition as we uncover some beliefs holding you back.
What are some common issues?
Clients often come to me with questions about their next career move or getting unstuck in their current role. How to balance work and home priorities. Leading out of fear. Living out a parent’s value instead of their own. How to handle a major life transition. Growing their business and making the right next move. Feeling overwhelmed with decisions lurking.
What is the value of coaching?
This is an important question and the answer is personal to each client. Invaluable for someone willing to clear the debris from their path. Priceless for someone trying to make a career decision. Highly regarded for a leader wanting to improve relationships.
Don’t take our word for it, though.
According to a Manchester Consulting Group study of Fortune 100 executives, the Economic Times reports “coaching resulted in a ROI of almost six times the program cost as well as a 77% improvement in relationships, 67% improvement in teamwork, 61% improvement in job satisfaction and 48% improvement in quality.” Additionally, a study of Fortune 500 telecommunications companies by MatrixGlobal found executive coaching resulted in a 529% ROI. The CIPD concludes “coaching is not just perceived as a nice-to-have intervention.
